What to look for in adaptive trousers
Consider whether the wearer can pull the trousers on independently, reach the waistband, manage a fastener and comfortably sit for long periods. A flexible waistband is useful for some people, but may not solve difficulties with hip or knee movement.
Alternative constructions to evaluate include easier-access openings, adjusted rises and seam placement, and waistbands that remain comfortable while seated.
Designed to be understood before purchase
Technical product pages should show the garment from the front, back and seated position, explain its precise closure method and provide detailed size guidance. A buyer should not need to guess how the trousers work.
